Celebrating 10 years of providing meaningful employment to vulnerable people in our community was a very important milestone for Ability Enterprises.
To honour this special occasion and our achievements, stakeholders, staff, and special guests gathered for a BBQ at Ability Enterprises where they were treated to a big surprise as popular television personality and award-winning actor Shane Jacobson arrived to join in the fun.
Now operating for over a decade, Ability Enterprises continues to go from strength to strength. We employ over 90 staff employed across 11 service provision contracts and we are being recognised locally and nationally for our commitment to creating a sustainable business model that offers a variety of employment opportunities to people with a disability.
It was great to have Shane join our celebrations and his message to our guests and Ability team members present was clear. “Let’s try to laugh more, let’s not take life too seriously”, and his final tip, “make someone smile”.
